Jared Edwards, PE, LEED AP BD+C, 36
Senior Project Manager/Senior Mechanical Engineer, Dallas, Texas.
Texas Tech University, BS Mechanical Engineering; Westminster Theological Seminary, MA of Religion.
Edwards leverages his positive energy, attention to detail, and eye for the big picture as an industry leader in healthcare and mission critical project management and engineering. He is a family man who expands his knowledge well beyond his engineering trade, and he lives as a steward in a world of creation and providence, which serves as the foundation of all his intentions and motivations. He is an expert in healthcare facility design and has a long-standing client relationship with the Baylor Health Care System. Edwards’ mission critical project experience began right out of college, when he worked with the lead engineer to create a design for a facility that tests nuclear weapons through supercomputers. Among his subsequent mission critical projects, he designed the HVAC system for a nuclear warhead research center that obtained U.S. Green Building Council LEED Silver certification. Edwards was also the lead mechanical engineer for the first LEED accredited hospital in the area, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Flower Mound, built down the street from his house. When he isn’t putting in extra hours at the office, Edwards enjoys hunting, fishing, conversation and wine with his wife, and reading and singing with their children. Good food is a staple of Edwards’ life, from enjoying ethnic restaurants with the family to entertaining friends with seafood boils and smoked meats.
